Inauguration of Parque Ribeirinho Oriente
The inauguration of Parque Ribeirinho Oriente marks a great moment in the trajectory of the Prata Riverside Village. The new park, an old industrial strip that extends for 600 meters on the banks of the Tagus, from the Poço do Bispo docks, is already a reality, having been officially opened on February 7 by the Lisbon Mayor, Fernando Medina, and by the councilor for the Green Structure, Environment and Energy, José Sá Fernandes.
On a stroll through the Parque Ribeirinho, with about four hectares on the banks of the Tagus and a few steps from the Prata Riverside Village, Fernando Medina pointed out:
“The return that is made to the city, to the citizens, to the people of Lisbon in an absolutely extraordinary space, in a year in which Lisbon is the Green Capital of Europe.”
This is the first phase of the project. In the second, there will be another four hectares from Matinha to Parque das Nações. The municipality expects the extension to be completed within two years.
VIC Properties is a fully integrated real estate platform that idealized and implemented the Prata Riverside Village project. The company, in addition to developing a new concept of development on the first line of the Tagus never before seen in Portugal, was also the biggest influencer for the construction of the new Parque Ribeirinho Oriente.
