VIC Properties begins the commercialisation of Park

Sales of Prata Riverside Village proceed at a fast pace. Of the approximately 350 flats placed on the market, 300 have already been sold.

VIC Properties S.A. (“VIC Properties“), the developer responsible for some of the largest residential projects in Portugal, has already completed the sale of more than 85% of the 350 flats of Prata Riverside Village placed on the market. The only project in Portugal by acclaimed Italian architect Renzo Piano is winning over not only the Portuguese, who account for over 55% of the purchases but also the international community, with buyers coming from 40 countries.

Therefore, and to continue to meet the high demand, VIC Properties decided to move forward with the commercialisation of Park, a building whose construction began in the second half of this year. With a privileged location, on the first line of the river and located next to the central square of Prata Riverside Village, this building has flats from T0 to T4, with values starting at 360.000 euros.

As in all Prata buildings, the concern with energy efficiency and electric mobility is present in Park. This way, all flats have an energy-efficiency Class of A or A+. Always in the search for more innovative solutions, VIC decided, in this building, to upgrade to Photovoltaic Panels instead of Solar Thermal that characterized previous buildings, keeping the domotics system that allows the creation of scenarios for the shading of the generously sized windows at different times of the day, minimizing the use of energy for heating/cooling of the flats. From the point of view of electric mobility, the focus on chargers for electric cars in the private car park is maintained.

“With each passing day, the desire to build an authentic “riverside village” solidifies and shows that Renzo Piano’s vision for this location in Marvila was the right one.

With Prata Riverside Village, a unique and unrepeatable project, we give back the eastern riverside front to the population of Marvila and the thousands of people that visit this area daily, while, at the same time, creating a new community, with the arrival of hundreds of residents. Everyone can enjoy the new leisure areas, such as the bike lane, the playgrounds of Parque Ribeirinho Oriente, as well as the unique connection to the Tagus River, which makes this already one of the most prestigious gardens in Lisbon”, says Luís Gamboa, Chief Operating Officer of VIC Properties.

Moreover, he adds, “Prata is now home to several commercial spaces, with the opening of new shops taking place at an excellent pace”. “In recent months, Prata has welcomed two restaurants (Rio de Prata and Cozinha da Prata), the Into Beauty Studio beauty salon, the interior design and architecture spaces by Carla Zuzarte and Eliteline, Luís Pintão’s art studio and the first Grohe Experience showroom in Portugal. In addition to the artistic residencies that have joined the pioneering Delta The Coffee House Experience, Mercearia da Prata, Rise Bike Shop, designer pop-up shops, and the P‘la Arte Market, which takes place on the first Saturday of each month. And this offer will continue to grow”, he assures.

This will be helped by the completion of two more buildings, Square, whose first flats will be delivered early next year, and Urban, whose completion is scheduled for the first half of 2023. Square has 107 flats, 65% of which are already sold. Sales at Urban, with 65 flats, are at 90 percent. The 175 flats of The One, Riverside, and West buildings were fully sold in the first phase of the project.
