On 29 November, from 2 pm to 7 pm, Prata Riverside Village celebrates, once again, the arrival of the festive season with a new edition of its Christmas event, SO!CHRISTMAS, a gathering designed for families, residents and visitors who wish to experience this time of year in a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Throughout the afternoon, the neighbourhood transforms into a lively setting, with Santa Claus and his elves, balloon-modelling moments and festive surprises that spark the magic of the season.
Creativity comes to life through themed workshops, where children and adults can create Christmas accessories, wreaths, and candles — simple yet memorable experiences that can be taken home. In parallel, the programme features a variety of performances that bring rhythm to the event, from the Chapitô circus shows to the Arcade Dance School performances, creating a dynamic atmosphere that accompanies visitors throughout the afternoon. There is also space for stories, with a Christmas tale session that captivates younger audiences and enhances the sense of wonder.
The experience goes beyond the activities, with a Christmas market offering crafts and gift ideas, an inflatable play zone for children, and a stand with crêpes and hot chocolate. The event culminates in one of the most symbolic moments of the programme: a performance by the Lisbon Community Choir, accompanying the lighting of the Christmas Tree, officially marking the beginning of the brightest season of the year at Prata Riverside Village.
