The ETERNO Gallery, in partnership with VIC Properties, opens its doors at Prata Riverside Village with the exhibition Threshold, by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils, one of the most internationally renowned Portuguese contemporary artists.
The exhibition spans two floors of the gallery and is divided into two main sections. Detritus presents slow-motion footage of explosions in derelict buildings, accompanied by NFTs that capture and preserve these fleeting moments. Layers, on the other hand, offers an interactive generative art experience, where each visitor can create a unique artwork from torn posters, with the option to keep it as an NFT or turn it into a physical piece.
Combining physical and digital works, limited editions, and large-scale projections, Threshold explores new ways of creating, experiencing, and collecting contemporary art.
The exhibition is open to the public from May 30 to August 2, Tuesday to Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the ETERNO Gallery in Prata Riverside Village. Admission is free.
